Green Infrastructure for Pollinators Workshop
Woodmeadow Trust and St Nicks have teamed up and are delighted to offer this workshop with national expert Steven Falk.
Time: 09.30 - 17.00
Venue: Three Hagges Woodmeadow
Cost: £80.00

This workshop explains the needs of pollinators and the policy framework that supports their conservation, drawing upon examples of good practice, including examples of where green infrastructure for pollinators can be combined with amenity and community engagement.

The workshop will be a mix of indoor presentations and discussions, followed by an outdoor session showing good examples of green infrastructure – looking at pollinators and how habitat can be designed, managed and enhanced to assist the adult and larval needs of pollinators.  The outdoor session will take place at Three Hagges Woodmeadow, the flagship site of Woodmeadow Trust.

The day is designed to encourage you to view countryside and greenspace in new ways and make more of the many opportunities, often inexpensive, to promote pollinators and ecosystem services.

This workshop is aimed at professional naturalists, volunteers within conservation organisations and anyone who wants to improve their knowledge on the creation of habitats for pollinators.  For further information on Steven Falk visit his website
