Spoon Carving Morning Workshop
A practical workshop introducing you to the ancient art of spoon carving with an axe, a knife and a crook knife.
Time: 09.30am till 12.30pm
Venue: Education and Volunteer Cabin, Three Hagges Woodmeadow
Cost: £35 or £30 for Friends and Volunteers

Learn a new skill and enjoy the subtle and mindful qualities of sculpting in green wood.

This workshop will explore different types of wood, the knife, axer grips and how to finish the surface of your unique handmade spoon.

You will be supported through the whole process and encouraged to explore carving in your own way and at your own pace.  With a maximum of six participants in the group, you are guaranteed a personal tutored experience.  This is a workshop to slow down and settle your attention.

What's included?

All tools and materials are supplied and you will be the proud owner of your own handmade spoon at the end of the session.  The kettle will always be on and the biscuit tin will be full!
