Woodmeadow Trust on BBC Radio York
Project Director, Ros Forbes Adam, and volunteers are interviewed by BBC Radio York's Jerico Keys on the work of the Woodmeadow Trust.

BBC Radio York has visited the Woodmeadow Trust's flagship site at Three Hagges Woodmeadow to find out how the wood-meadow has evolved, and to talk to volunteers.

During the programme, broadcast on 8 August 2019, Ros Forbes Adam explained how the wood-meadow has  developed since 2012.

She spoke of the importance of the educational aspects of the wood-meadow in helping the community to understand both the decline in bio-diversity, and the steps that everyone can take to encourage nature in their own gardens and beyond.

Volunteers Emma, John and Richard explained the benefits of their work with the Woodmeadow Trust.  They talked about learning new skills, meeting new people and making a practical contribution to bring back nature and create a beautiful space for the community.
