COVID-19 Information

To our valued friends and supporters…

The spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) is having a significant impact on our daily lives and is likely to do so for some time.  Woodmeadow Trust is taking this threat seriously and is prioritising the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers, recorders, and visitors.  It is vital that we follow government guidance in order to minimise risk and we appreciate your patience and support during these times.

Following recent government guidance and the change in restrictions to outdoor activities in England we are delighted to announce that Three Hagges Woodmeadow has reopened.  We ask all visitors to ensure they follow the steps listed below and government guidance on staying safe outside your home

  • PLEASE SANITISE YOUR HANDS BEFORE USING THE GATE LATCH when entering and leaving Three Hagges Woodmeadow (hand sanitisers are situated at the entrance gate), or wash your hands at the sink situated at the side of the eco loos, or use clean gloves.
  • Please follow social distancing guidelines and stay 2 meters away from anyone outside your household.

  • Strictly adhere to government guidance on meeting with people from different households.

  • Eco loos are closed – please do not try to open.

  • If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating or shielding, you should stay at home - this is critical to staying safe and saving lives.

We are also delighted that our 'Meadow Safari Day' will take place on Sunday 26th July at Three Hagges Woodmeadow.  Please visit the 'What's On' section of our website for further details.

Our volunteer sessions have restarted for groups of six people.  If you are interested in attending one of our volunteer sessions then please get in touch at to book a place.

Our sincere thanks for your continued support during such a difficult and unprecedented time.  We cannot do what we do to support wildlife without you, and our thoughts go out to you and your families.  Please stay safe, stay alert and together we can come through this.
