The Woodmeadow Trust has a team of volunteers who work alongside our Volunteer Coordinator to look after the community wildflower meadow and woodland, Three Hagges Woodmeadow. We value their dedication, skill and enthusiasm.

Our volunteers have the chance to work in a beautiful place with like-minded people, learn about our native trees and shrubs, explore the wildlife that lives there, gain new skills to enhance a CV, and to play a vital role in the life of the Woodmeadow.

We offer a variety of roles to suit different abilities, interests and time commitments:

  • Caring for the woodmeadow, mostly working outdoors.
  • Helping welcome visitors at events.
  • Helping with botanical and wildlife recording.
  • Helping with school visits.
  • Encouraging more people to come to our events and helping with marketing.
  • helping with administration and office based tasks.

What we offer our volunteers:

  • Training and support in learning new skills.
  • Learning from experts about nature.
  • Invitations to events, talks and activities
  • Discounted rates for courses.
  • Free tea and coffee each time you come.

If you are interested please email us and tell us a little about yourself. Please include a phone number so we can contact you for a chat!
